100% electricity saving bulb: Kameyama candle house “Setsudenkyu”

Kameyama sells a revolutionary bulb. It lights without any electric power. This is the photo–yes, it is a candle.

The candle is developed to save power. This summer, Japan will experience record high temperatures so people are worried about power shortages. The candle lights for about 24 hours, which is enough to spend a night only with this candle.
“Setsudenkyu” is made of the words; “Setsuden” and “Denkyu”. “Setsuden” means power saving, “Denkyu” means a bulb. The design of Setsudenkyu won the Tokyo Midtown Award 2011, commercialized by Kameyama.

The stubby candle looks cute, and makes you feel good. Why don’t you have a relaxing night once in a while with it?
