Camellia keeps hair beautiful : Camellia oil
- Jul. 29th 2009 (Wed.)
- beauty/health

It is famous that Asian women have glossy beautiful hair. In Japan, pure camellia oil has been used traditionally in hair care products for many years. The camellia is still a symbol of beautiful hair.
Camellia oil contains 90% oleic acid, which is more that olive oil contains. (olive oil contains only 76%). Oleic acid is difficult to oxidize and rehydrate skin and hair. Camellia oil stabilizes it and can be preserved for a long time at normal temperature.

To treat your hair, apply several drops of camellia oil to the ends of your hair. If you massage your scalp with the oil before shampooing, you will get blood back into your scalp. Camellia oils can be used regardless of age or sex.
“Oshima tsubaki” is a top brand in Japan, though “Kurobara-Honpo“(Black Rose) is also made with high quality camellia oil. They sell the camellia oil for about 1000 a bottle.
